The Coimbatore Productivity Council (CPC), a non-profit autonomous body, established in 1958 to promote productivity culture in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu is registered as a society under the societies Registration Act and affiliated to National Productivity Council, New Delhi. Also the first local productivity Council in India.
The founder President was Padmabushan K. Sreenivasan, Former Director, South India Textile Research Association, and Coimbatore.
To help to optimized productivity in all spares of industry.
To encourage implementation of new techniques for increasing productivity through training and development.
To promote cordial employer- employee relation
